Here are some pictures from Tawang (Tibet/India/China/Himalaya). We stayed at the orphanage for only 10 days, still it was hard to leave these people. I did art classes with some 50 kids. Super kids. And one day we did some football exercises. I got the girls to join in, and was happy with that. The jeep ride down from the mountains was amazingly scenic. More stories will follow. A big thanks to all the kids, Lama Jee and Dr. Maipal Singh.
The children getting a wash at the orphanage. Here I must refer to the famous song that goes like this: Aa vaske seg det er slettes ikke godt, boersten er boerstet og vannet er saa vaatt, nei skrubb g boerste og saapevann, er ikke noe for en roevermann.

Young Buddhist Monk at Tawang Monastery. These people consider th Dalai Lama their spiritual leader. The sixth Dalai Lama was born not far from here, and the area is predominantly Tibetian Buddhist. It is tradition that the second son in a family becomes a monk.
